Una tonnellata di stazza infatti equivale a 2.83 metri cubi e l'abbreviazione \"tons\" sta appunto a indicare tonnellate nella radice \"ton\" e stazza nella successiva \"s\".<\/span><\/span><\/span>, tonnellate di portata lorda 35.890. Tipologia di nave: rinfusiera. Lunghezza massima\u00a0 216 metri, Larghezza 28 metri, Immersione massima 9.29 metri. Apparato propulsore un motore Diesel FIAT\u00a0 8 cilindri (900 x 1600 mm) potenza sviluppata 16.800 Cavalli e in grado di imprimere alla nave una velocit\u00e0 massima di 17 nodi, nave singola elica. Si tratta di una stazione installata e successivamente gestita dalla S.I.R.M. (Societ\u00e0 Italiana Radio Marittima). La nave montava due ricevitori prodotti dalla MARCONI ITALIANA, il ricevitore montato a destra nella consolle \u00e8 il modello RV 102A con copertura in cinque bande da 45 a 1500 kHz, il ricevitore montato a sinistra invece \u00e8 il modello RV 102 con copertura in sei bande da 1500 kHz a 25 MHz. Al centro della consolle tra i due ricevitori un pannello dove venivano centralizzate alcune commutazioni come quella dell&#8217;avviamento degli inverter, le commutazioni del tasto radiotelegrafico sui vari trasmettitori, la possibilit\u00e0 di un altoparlante centralizzato, le commutazioni per l\u2019alimentazione d\u2019emergenza\u00a0 a batterie e altri comandi. A paratia nella zona centrale della consolle e poco sopra il rack dei ricevitori un pannello per lo smistamento delle antenne di ricezione, sopra\u00a0 il grosso commutatore per le antenne di trasmissione, a destra di questo dispositivo appare l\u2019orologio di stazione mentre sulla sinistra la targa con il nominativo internazionale della nave.
